Hannah is an independent hairstylist so the number of services she can provide is subject to time provided. 40 minutes per person is the amount of time needed to style.
Yes, there is a required minimum of 5 services including the Bride to book. So Bride + 4 others. The minimum starting price of the services is $1,300 (does not including travel fees). If you wish to book less than 5 services the minimum amount still is required to book with Hannah.
The maximum amount of services is 10 people. (Hannah has made exception to this number) but extended time and additional assistance is needed to approve a larger than 10 bridal party.
Bridal Parties 8 and over require an assistant. (Hannah has a trained assistant on call for such weddings of 8- 10 people.) There will be a required assistant fee of $200 for those larger parties.

No they are not required but highly recommended! The reason being most brides need time to process the style options to truly get a grasp of what they do and don’t like within style options. Sometimes you don’t know that a type of style really flatters your entire look until trying it out. For example, what frames the face well, how much volume to I actually like, do I prefer updo or half up on my face shape, what does better with my veil and dress. These are things to process at a trial. Trial appointments 95% of the time help brides feel more confident in their decision on the wedding day.
What is included in the trial appointment? - up to 3 styles included at your preference. Hannah does a consultation on all your preferences and the likes and dislikes of the styles. After trial she provides you with videos of each style so you can on your own decide what you prefer best, so on the wedding day you can make a decision best fit for your style. (Note: the price of appointment does not change if you choose to only do one style). If you wish to try more than 3 styles at your trial an additional $100 per style will be added to the appointment cost.
When do you recommend booking the trial appointment? - Hannah typically prefers biking out trial 1-3 months out from the wedding day. Trends change and there are always new styles to choose from so the closer to the wedding day the better.
Can I book a trial before booking my wedding? Yes, however Hannah does not place a hold on your date so upon inquiring until deposit and contract are completed your date remains open for brides to book. So if you can book your trial asap you might be able to secure Hannah for your date. (Do not recommend this method of booking).
-
Hannah books a year out and if date is available she even has booked as little as two weeks out in very rare occasions. Popular dates especially Saturday weddings through May-October get booked quickly! So once you know your date it is never too early to inquire to get your date secure in Hannah’s schedule. Many Brides wait to late to book hair and makeup services but high demand stylist book out quickly.
-
Hannah is a on site stylist, so she travels to each clients location for both trials and wedding day styling. She does not have a studio at this time, her focus remains on being a on site hairstylist for the convince of her clients.
Per mile traveled to the location is $2.00 per mile from Hannah’s location in South Bend IN.
If it is over a 2 hour trip, Hannah requires Hotel fee on top of the milage.
If traveling requires further distance where flight and uber are needed those costs will be added.
How far does Hannah travel? - She has traveled as far as Virginia, Montana, Colorado, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio. She loves to travel to new places and would love to do your destination wedding upon request.

A good haircare routine is defiantly key for healthy hair, and will defiantly help your wedding day style to look more put together.
Higher quality Shampoo & Conditioner. (As your personal stylist to recommend a few option or on your call with Hannah ask what products she recommends.)
Once a week or every other week do a deep conditioning mask primarily on your mid-ends of your hair. As well as investing in a good scalp serum to refresh your scalp is always beneficial.
Regular trims - This step is so important in having good styling results. Dead ends not only makes a style look less polished but also can create a more damed hair look. Hannah recommends getting a small trim eery 3-4 months even just 1/2inch trim helps healthy hair growth. (Skipping trims can create damaged long hair, which will lead to needing a bigger cut when seeing your stylist next.)
I recommend if you get your hair color treated to make an appointment with your stylist 2-3 weeks before your wedding day for fresh color in all your pictures.
If you don’t color your hair but it seems dull you could get a gloss treatment on your hair (ask your stylist)
Do you need highlights to have a pretty hairstyle? For the natural brunettes or darker hair colors, It defiantly seems as if the blonds have more fun in updo styles, (as that is primarily what is popularly shown for inspo pictures). It is not necessary for highlights to be put in for the style be beautiful. And details do show up in photos of darker hair types, so don’t feel pressured to color your hair if that is not your style preference.
-
Wanting a fuller style or extra length, defiantly consider asking Hannah to add on this service for your wedding day. So many brides decide extensions would be the perfect addition to the style they are going for. (See below for some great hair transformations of WRHA brides that chose extensions for their wedding.)
Cost? $200 - Due to the expensive costs for supplying high quality human hair extensions, that match your hair color. Adding in the extensions also requires extra time in styling. These factors reflects in the price of this service.
Once wedding is over Bride is required to send back the extensions at earliest convince. They are “rental extensions”. If bride wishes to buy the extensions and choose not to rent an additional $50 is added to buy them.
Can I bring my own extensions? - Yes, as long as they are 100% real human hair (NO synthetic hair, its will melt and will not be used to style.)

Hannah is INCREDIBLY talented and truly a ray of sunshine. I had the pleasure of having her to my hair 4x - engagement pictures, wedding trial, rehearsal dinner and wedding day and my hair looked incredible for each event. She did an amazing job with a variety of hair types / lengths and everyone was thrilled with their individual results. Hannah and her assistant were lovely and fit right into the fun we had - we are so thankful to have had them as a part of our big day. I cannot recommend Hannah enough (and hope I go to a South Bend wedding soon so l can have her do my hair as a guest!).

Madeline, was such an incredible bride to work with, She was an out of state bride and had her destination wedding at Notre Dame.
The Services she chose to book me for where: Engagement photos, a trial appointment for her and both moms, rehearsal dinner, and Wedding day where I styled Her & her bridal party of 6 people, She also added rental extension for her desired hairstyles.
Madeline at her trial tried both a updo and half up style without extension, at the trial she decided that she wanted both length and thickness added into her hairstyle. As you can see from her review above she LOVED all the style!

Emily was a local Bride but had a destination wedding in Chicago. It was such a honor to be apart of their wedding day not only as her bridal stylist but as her day of content creator to capture her sweet moments.
The services Emily chose to book were Engagement shoot hairstyle in a high soft updo. She booked trial for both her and her Mom, at the trial she tried two updo options and then we also did an all down curled style. Day of wedding styled I traveled to Chicago to style her for the ceremony with soft curls and styles for her bridal party of 6 with updos. They all chose such beautiful styles, Then for the reception we did a second style in a French twist updo. Overall it was such a beautiful wedding!!

As a person with a very textured hair, finding a hair stylist that would bring my vision to life when I was planning my wedding was very important to me. I was Hannah's first wedding 6 years ago but her talent was undeniable from the start. She did such an amazing job and I will forever remember how beautiful and confident I felt on my wedding day! Do you want a hairstylist that will make your hair look better than you even imagined?!?! Book her ASAP!
And thank me later.

Mercy was an out of state Bride that booked me for her Virginia Wedding! It was a honor to travel out to do her wedding hairstyle.
She booked me for a trial appointment, traveling to her venue, and for Her wedding day style and her bridal party styles. She had extensions sewed into her hair for length fullness to create the soft curls of the half up half down style she chose.

40 minuets per person for wedding day styling time.
Consultation appointments can take up to 2 hours due to my consultation process & doing multiple styles in the styling session.
How much time does a non bridal appointment take? 50 minuets.
-
For bridal parties NO, due to timeline and styling within 40 minuets I cannot provide a blowout, only formal hairstyle. Wet hair adds 20 minuets to the timeline and can really mess up a timeline of a wedding. Therefore I always ask Bridal parties to have 100 percent DRY HAIR. To ensure the timeline runs smoothly.
Do you charge extra if you have to fully blow dry hair on a wedding day? - Yes because of the added time I charge $20 if I end up having to blow dry hair.
What if the hair is slightly damp? - If I have to lightly blow dry to before prep curling the hair that is fine & shouldn’t mess up the timeline. (This really is just me protecting your wedding day timeline.)
-
Yes I do! However my elopement package prices do change depending on the day of the elopement & the travel required. If you are a weekday Bride my prices are normal Bride service prices. But if it’s a Friday or Saturday date in May - October I require you to pay the amount of the 5 persons services minimum plus the travel.
What is the price of a 5 person minimum for May - October Friday & Saturday Brides? $900
What does this cost INCLUDE since I am just one person? - Consultation appointment, option of two add on services & my bridal hair prep kit.
-
Cash & Venmo only.
Do you prefer everyone paying together or separately? - no preference open to either.
When is payment due? - Deposit due when booking. The remaining payment is due on the wedding day.
Do your prices change? - Yes, every year I assess my business and adjust accordingly. But your price on your contract will not change that price point is locked in.
